Meet Our Dental Team

Susana was born and raised in Toronto and after obtaining her B.A. from Ryerson University, followed by her RDA diploma. She made the trek out west to Alberta and has called Calgary home ever since.

She has been in the dental industry for 29 years, with the last 10 years in holistic dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between how oral health affects the whole body and is excited to be a part of the team at West Market Dental.

When not at work, she loves spending time at her cabin with her family.

Carmen is the youngest of 3 daughters and was born in Chile and came to Calgary in 1975.  She loves dentistry because it is always evolving, and especially enjoys helping patients regain a healthy beautiful smile.  In her spare time, Carmen loves being the outdoors hiking, camping, and enjoying time with her dogs.

Joanna obtained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. Prior to that, she was a dental assistant for over 7 years, and much of that time was spent working alongside Dr. Peter Lam.

Joanna is excited to be part of the West Market Dental team and is enjoying being back in Calgary with her family and friends. She is dedicated to providing quality care and patients really appreciate Joanna's friendliness and gentle touch.

She was born and raised in Calgary but decided to make the move to Burlington, Ontario to study dental hygiene. She has been practicing since 2010 and is excited to rejoin the West Market Dental team. She is dedicated to providing quality care to all of her patients while making them feel comfortable.

Susan is always looking to enhance her knowledge in her profession and staying up to date on all the latest in dental hygiene.

When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and son exploring Calgary and nearby mountains.
